The Well Wish

The Well Wish is a female fronted quintet blending the sounds of alternative and indie rock out of Monmouth County, New Jersey. Forming in 2016 and wasting no time in pumping out material, they released a 3 track EP, "Of Heart and Mind" and began steady touring throughout the tri-state area. In 2023, they released their second EP, “Promises”, and won two accolades (A Makin Waves Award for Best Vocalist Of The Year and Makin Waves Album of the Month in September of 2023) and in 2024, they won the Point Pleasent Beach Battle of the Bands. The band consists of Anya Schildge (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Elena Worton (backing vocals and piano), Prash Singh (bass), Andy Kirkpatrick (drums) and PJ Angeloni (guitar). Drawing influences along the likes of Florence and The Machine, Fiona Apple, Sarah McLachlan, and Milo Greene has allowed them to begin paving their way into the hearts of indie rock lovers in the northeast.

Carlotta Schmidt and The Bold

For over ten years, New Jersey based singer/songwriter/guitarist Carlotta Schmidt (she/they) has been wowing audiences with her soaring vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and vibrant guitar playing. Released in 2023, their self-titled album delivers brand-new originals and classic songs performed with their signature jazz-inspired acoustic rock spin. Her album has received rave reviews from fans, publications, and organizations, including The Alternative and the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation. Carlotta has played all kinds of music at all kinds of venues, including the Stone Pony and Asbury Lanes, and has performed with numerous local legends and national acts, including 10-time Grammy winning Americana singer/songwriter, Brandi Carlile, and Grammy-nominated jazz trumpeter, Jon Faddis. In 2024, Carlotta created, produced, and performed at the successful women-led music festival, Fourth Wave Fest, through which they raised thousands of dollars for 180 Turning Lives Around, a NJ based charity. Whether she’s playing solo or with her band, Carlotta Schmidt and the Bold, Carlotta loves perfecting their craft and sharing it with the world. For this show, the Bold will consist of Mike Flynn (guitar and vocals), Paul Avrutin (bass and vocals), and David Halpern (drums).

Abby Lee

Abby Lee is a charismatic singer/songwriter based in South Philadelphia. Known for her powerful voice, dynamic range, and warm, engaging stage presence, she delivers a seamless mix of blues, rock and soul covers and originals. Growing up glued to the side of her mother’s piano, Abby found inspiration in the bigger-than-life voices of Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, and Etta James. She performs regularly with her duo at venues across Atlantic City, including the Hard Rock Casino, Borgata, Bally’s Casino, and Tropicana. Abby recently took the stage at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for Philly Magazine’s “Best of Philly” 50th anniversary event and at the 2024 Homey Awards show at The Queen in Wilmington where she was nominated for her original blues rock track, “Best Thing.”

valentines day is a five-piece queer and women of color band, built from the grime of New Jersey’s underground and taking over the indie/alt scene on their quest to inspire the members of their communities to step out and embrace their own spotlights. This commitment to redefining identity can be seen in their varied musical portfolio, akin to how the band showcases the different faces and experiences around what it means to be queer, colored, and women. The group consists of Ariadna (vocals/rhythm guitar/auxiliary percussion), Emily (bass), Nishta (drums), Sarah (vocals), and Stage (lead guitar)

Strumberry Pie

Strumberry Pie was formed in the summer of 2012 by Deedee Montanaro and Laura Catalina Johnson. Deedee and Laura got together to learn and play a few songs at an open mic that summer, but quickly found that ‘a few songs’ just would not do. Since its inception, Strumberry Pie has played original and cover songs as a duo, a trio and a full band in venues big and small throughout the Jersey Shore. Eclectic styles and beautiful harmonies are what you will find at a Strumberry Pie show, where the only requirement of any song we play is that it makes us all feel something true from the vast rainbow of human emotions. Rock, country, pop, latin, grunge, indie, punk, metal (yes, metal)... all genres are welcome so long as it’s good music.
